Hero Academy started in Tamarindo, Costa Rica in 2016. We are a non-profit organization. Our mission is to offer local kids an opportunity to participate in Jiu Jitsu and other sports programs free of charge. We currently have over 150 kids in our programs, since inception over 1000 kids have received full scholarships to train. We fund this mission by bringing in top talent from BJJ and MMA to hold once in a lifetime retreats. You have an incredible traincation, and it benefits an amazing cause.
